អ្នកជំនាញ អ.ស.ប. ស្តីពីស្ថានភាពសិទ្ធិមនុស្សនៅកម្ពុជា បានសម្តែងកង្វល់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងអំពីការរឹតត្បិតលើប្រព័ន្ធផ្សព្វផ្សាយ សេរីភាពក្នុងការបញ្ចេញមតិ និងការចូលរួមក្នុងសកម្មភាពនយោបាយ នៅមុនពេលនៃការបោះឆ្នោតជាតិក្នុងខែកក្កដា ដោយអំពាវនាវឲ្យរដ្ឋាភិបាលជ្រើសរើសដើរតាមមាគ៌ាសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស។

The UN expert on the human rights situation in Cambodia has expressed serious concerns about restrictions on the media, freedom of expression and political participation ahead of a national election in July, calling on the Government to choose the path of human rights.

The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on Monday published a batch of communications held with the Cambodian government since June last year, showing that the international body has voiced its concern about a range of issues from the arrest of former CNRP leader Kem Sokha to the displacement of residents near the Lower Sesan II dam.

អង្គការលើកលែងទោសអន្តរជាតិ Amnesty International នៅថ្ងៃទី២២កុម្ភៈនេះបានចេញផ្សាយរបាយការណ៍សិទ្ធិមនុស្សប្រចាំឆ្នាំ២០១៧ ដោយបានវាយតម្លៃទៅលើស្ថានភាពសិទ្ធិក្នុងប្រទេស១៥៩ នៅលើពិភពលោក។ អំពីកម្ពុជា អង្គការលើកលែងទោសអន្តរជាតិ មើលឃើញថា សេរីភាពនៃសិទ្ធិមនុស្សបានដើរថយក្រោយក្នុងឆ្នាំកន្លងមក។ តែសម្រាប់អ្នកនាំពាក្យគណបក្សកាន់អំណាចអះអាងថា គ្រប់យ៉ាងដែលរដ្ឋាភិបាលធ្វើគឺអនុវត្តតាមច្បាប់។

អង្គការការពារអ្នកសារព័ត៌គ្មានព្រំដែន (Reporters Without Borders, Reporters Sans Frontières) របស់បារាំងកាលថ្ងៃទី១៣ កុម្ភៈ បានចេញរបាយការណ៍មួយក្រោមចំណងជើងថា“ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា សារព័ត៌មានឯករាជ្យកំពុងស្ថិតនៅក្នុងភាពមហន្តរាយ”។ របាយការណ៍នេះ បានលើកឡើងពីប្រព័ន្ធផ្សព្វផ្សាយមួយចំនួនត្រូវរដ្ឋាភិបាលបិទ និងមួយចំនួនទៀតបិទទ្វារដោយខ្លួនឯង។ សកម្មភាពទាំងនេះ ត្រូវបានអង្គការការពារអ្នកកាសែតគ្មានព្រំដែនចង្អុលបង្ហាញថាជាការរៀបចំធ្វើឡើងដោយមនុស្សមួយក្រុមរបស់រដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា។
