Remember Mr. Thach Ven of Kampuchea Krom

Mr. Thach Ven, age 62, passed away on Thursday October 1, B.E.2553, A.D.2009 Year of the Ox in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.
He was born in Thkov district, Preah Trapeang province, Kampuchea Krom. He followed the Khmer traditon by entering Buddhist monkhood. He is a human and religious rights activist. He is survived by nine children.
We salute his patriotism and bravery.
