The Statement of the Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community Denouncing the Siamese Invasion of Cambodia on Feb. 4 - 7, 2011
Monday February 7, B.E.2554, A.D.2011 Year of the Tiger
KKC supports the measure(s) taken by the RGC, Royal Government of Cambodia so far and not to return to a bilateral talk on solving the dispute.
KKC supports the measure of RGC to urgently request the UN Security Council to convene on this invasion matter and KKC requests the RGC to increase more measures.
The Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community (KKC) has an honor to cordially invite you, the eminent venerable Buddhist monks, compatriots, youth and students, inclusive and non-discrimination to political affiliations and religions, to participate in its convention with the Honorable Thach Setha, KKC Executive Director, Phnom Penh Councilman, and former Senator of Cambodia, in Toronto city, Canada.
KKC Statement on Royal Government of Cambodia did not recognize the Khmers from Kampuchea Krom as Khmer citizens, contrary to the Constitution and Nationality Law
Monday February 22, B.E.2553, A.D.2010 Year of the Ox
The Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community, KKC, deplores and seriously concerns about the denial of Khmer nationality identification cards to the 22 Khmer people of Kampuchea Krom, who were deported and handed by the Thai authorities to the Cambodian authorities recently.
The denial of Khmer nationality identification cards to the Khmer people by the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia is a severe violation of their rights as inscribed in the Constitution in section 33 and Nationality Law in sections 2, 3, and 4. This act contradicts the legal principle and the proclamation made by the RGC that recognizes the Khmer people of Kampuchea Krom as the legal Khmer citizens [of Cambodia]. This is not the first time that the present Royal Government of Cambodia has shown her negative stance on the Khmer Kampuchea Krom people.
KKC Executive Director
SRP Phnom Penh City Councilman
SRP Senator of Cambodia, 1999-2006
In this case, if the Royal Government of Cambodia recognized the Khmer people of Kampuchea Krom as Khmer citizens as inscribed in the Constitution and Nationality Law as the RGC representative had claimed more than one times in the past, the Royal Government facilitates the nationality paper work for the Khmer people with no condition. Even though the Khmer people in Kampuchea Krom (South Vietnam) living under the power of colonial Vietnam in the past several hundreds of years and Kampuchea Krom had been colonized by France, then transferred this land to the authorities of [another] colonial Vietnam to continue colonizing [the land and the Khmers] until today, the Khmer people living there had not and have not surrendered their Khmer nationality, citizenship and identity in betrayal of their ancestors even once. Even the authorities of Vietnam issue the identification cards to the Khmer people still recognize them as Khmers. All royal Khmer governments, except the authoritarian communist Khmer government, had and continue to facilitate and encourage the Khmer Kampuchea Krom people in all aspects of their need.
The Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community appeals to the Royal Government of Cambodia to provide the legal nationality paper work to the Khmer people of Kampuchea Krom as inscribed in the Constitution and Nationality Law without condition.

KKC Statement to ASEM Meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia: Cease Khmer Krom human rights violations in Vietnam
May 26, BE2553, AD2009
On the occasion of the Asia-Europe (ASEM) Foreign Ministers Meeting in Phnom
Penh on May 27 - 28, 2009, the Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community (KKC)
wishes to draw the attention of all the delegations on the issue of the violation of the
Human Rights of the Khmer Kampuchea Krom (Mekong Delta) people.
KKC represents all the oppressed Khmer people living on the Mekong
Delta would like to appeal to all esteem delegates to look into the problem of the
worst violation of human rights of the Vietnamese people especially, the Khmer
Kampuchea Krom people by the current Vietnamese authorities. These abuses have
taken on the people's freedom of religious belief (the Buddhist religion has been
subjected to the tight control of the Vietnamese Communist Party and the Vietnamese
Buddhist Sect), the freedom of assembly (associations) and local organizations, and freedom of expression, the prohibition of the Khmer
Krom people from studying the Khmer literature and language as well as the forced
seizures of the people's land.
KKC sincerely hopes that your esteem delegates will push for the halt of these
violations of human rights of its people and to make sure that the human rights situation in Vietnam improved to the acceptable standard especially, the
respect of the sacred rights of the indigenous people of Khmer Kampuchea Krom by
the Vietnamese authorities.

KKC condemnation statement on S.R. Vietnam's government for flip-flopping on travel visas issuance to
EU MEPs
The Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community strongly condemns the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for obstructing Hon. Marco Giacinto Pannella, Member of the European Parliament and President of the Transnational Radical Party, and Hon. Marco Perduca, Member of the Italian Senate from boarding the airplane from the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the morning of December 23, 2008. Both lawmakers have been officially issued entry visas by the Embassy of Vietnam to Rome granting them to visit Vietnam. However, the Vuntau Intourco Hanoi tourist agency notified [the lawmakers] at the time of their boarding the airplane that the Vietnam’s entry visas have been refused. Thus they would not be able to visit Vietnam due to their staunch supports for the ideal struggle of the citizens of the Khmer Kampuchea Krom.
This event occurred following an extraordinary meeting between the Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community and their honorables at the Samakkirangsey Buddhist Temple in Phnom Penh [Cambodia] on Sunday December 21, 2008 because the lawmakers vehemently expressed their supports for the peaceful struggle of the Khmer Kampuchea Krom people for human rights and freedom.
The action of the communist Vietnamese authorities clearly shows the public and the international community that the Government of Vietnam is seriously suppressing her own citizens, especially Khmer Kampuchea Krom [indigens] and systematically sweeps their violation underneath the carpet to cover up from the international community. Furthermore, it is a vindictive act toward the European Parliament for adopting an October 22, 2008 resolution to pressure the Government of Vietnam to fully respect the [human] rights of her own citizens in accordance to the international human rights standard.
The Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community appeals to the international community, especially the European Community, to push the Government of Vietnam to allow Hon. Marco Giacinto Pannella and Hon. Marco Perduca to visit Vietnam in order to conduct field investigation of the situation of human rights.
